"With You, I'm Born Again"

2 Corinthians 5:16–17 HCSB

"From now on, then, we do not know anyone in a purely human way. Even if we have known Christ in a purely human way, yet now we no longer know Him in this way. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come." [Emphasis added.]

In the new year let us not be concerned about new year resolutions that fall idly by the wayside come January 3rd. Let us resolve to rest in the Truth that as Holy Spirit filled Believers we are a new creation in Christ. During Advent we focused on, looked forward to and celebrated the birth of Jesus, as well as anticipated His Second Coming. When we think about the entrance of the Son of God into our earthly realm, let us rightly focus on what He came to do and why His birth was vital to God's original plan. Reconciling humanity back to God through Salvation in Christ. The Salvation that makes us new, changes our name and cleanses us of all unrighteousness as we are born again through Faith in Jesus.
